Biannual Tribal Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings serve as a vital forum for TAC members to share information, offer recommendations, and ensure that CDC/ATSDR programs and policies respect and address the unique needs of tribal communities.

The 31st Biannual CDC/ATSDR TAC Meeting will be hosted by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and held at their Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ.

Meeting Details

CDC/ATSDR holds two meetings with the TAC each fiscal year, depending on funding availability. These meetings provide a forum for elected officials from tribal governments, or their designated representatives, to engage in dialogue with CDC/ATSDR leadership. TAC members share their perspectives, information, and recommendations on managing and implementing federal programs involving shared responsibilities with tribal entities.

The TAC meeting is open to the public. Note that participation during the TAC meeting is only for TAC members, their alternate, technical advisor, or guest to speak on their behalf. Virtual attendees should only use the chat feature for technical issues.

The TAC meeting operates under an exemption from the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). You can find details on the FACA exemption at FACA Frequently Asked Questions.

Feel free to reach out with any additional questions at tribalsupport@cdc.gov.
