We are thrilled to share that our signature Rural LISC Annual Seminar is gearing up to be our most impactful yet – thanks in part to an exciting new partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s Center for Rural Economies!

We are aligning our annual gatherings this year in Asheville, North Carolina, to amplify everything our attendees value: greater sharing opportunities, expanded resources, and even more ways to learn, connect, and lead.

Rural LISC Seminar
Tuesday, September 29 & Wednesday, September 30

Richmond Fed’s Investing in Rural America Conference
Wednesday, September 30 – Friday, October 2

Location for both events:
The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa
Asheville, NC

Longtime attendees of our seminar will recognize the traditions they love – from our local program partner bus tour, on Tuesday, September 29, to workshops and trainings focused on highlighting the work of our Rural LISC partners, on Wednesday, September 30, our agenda is packed with the latest insights in rural community and economic development. As always, you can expect thought provoking panels, dynamic national speakers, and conversations that challenge, motivate, and spark new ideas.

Immediately following the 2026 Rural LISC Annual Seminar activities, we encourage you to join us for the Richmond Fed’s Investing in Rural America Conference, Wednesday, September 30 – Friday, October 2.

This collaboration with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is more than just a partnership – it’s a powerful acknowledgment of what’s possible when organizations come together. By combining our strengths, we’re creating an elevated experience that honors our history while opening the door to new opportunities for growth and impact.

We can’t wait to welcome you to a bigger and bolder 2026 event – beginning with the Rural LISC Seminar and continuing with the Investing in Rural America Conference.
